VisaLang is a bilingual (English / Chinese) language-exam navigation site for the moment before you book an exam or submit a document that may require language proof.

What we do

We research official sources, organize the information, add safe preparation guidance, and help you identify what to verify before you pay for an exam. The primary library currently contains 38 English and Chinese guides across 2 developed route categories.

Content maturity

The primary Guide Library is limited to 30 English guides whose source review is complete and whose controlled status is either a complete or core route. These metadata checks set a conservative discovery boundary; they are not an independent guarantee of page quality or AdSense approval. Current counts are:

Current discovery scope

23 additional English research pages remain reachable by direct URL for continuity, but they are excluded from the primary Guide Library, sitemap, and advertising while their content status is starter or verification pending. Before any held page returns to primary discovery, a page-specific editorial review must record its distinct user task, current official evidence, original decision help, overlap with related pages, and unresolved gaps. Adding words or changing a date is not enough.

What we do not do

• We do not own exams, issue certificates, or verify results.
• We do not provide legal, financial, or immigration advice.
• We do not currently load display ads. A seller line in ads.txt is not AdSense approval and does not mean an advertisement is showing.
• We do not book exams on your behalf.
• We do not publish leaked questions or copied real exam items.

Why we started with Germany A1

Germany A1 family reunion is where a reader can lose time or money by making a decision in the wrong order: a requirement may not apply in every case; a certificate must match the receiving authority; and an exam date is only useful if the centre, ID, result, and document timeline work together. We built this route first as a practical decision sequence.

Germany B1 settlement and citizenship is the second developed English guide hub. It is a different procedure from family reunion: language proof and civic-knowledge evidence stay separate, and the hub does not decide the file. Chinese pages cover the A1 path; the B1 hub remains English and is labelled as such.

How we choose what to deepen

We prioritize pages where a reader must choose between routes, verify an official requirement, protect a deadline, or avoid an expensive booking mistake. A route overview may remain a starter guide until we can support it with the same depth and source discipline as Germany A1.

Our approach

• Official-first. Every guide links to the official exam owner or government authority.
• Safe preparation. We publish original practice guidance, never leaked questions.
• Up-to-date. Every guide shows a Last Updated date.
• Transparent. Affiliate relationships are clearly labeled. We never imply official endorsement.

• Published route categories: Germany A1 family reunion and Germany B1 settlement/citizenship.
• Research pages held outside primary discovery: TestDaF, telc work/nursing, UK, Canada, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Netherlands, Finland, and France.

Editorial method

Each mature guide starts from a single user task, maps who finally decides each claim, records official URLs with check dates, and adds original decision help (trees, checklists, responsibility splits, comparison tables, scenario pitfalls, or record templates). We do not invent fees, seats, acceptance outcomes, or personal professional licences. AI may assist drafting; humans verify high-risk facts against official sources.

Updates, corrections, and Chinese coverage

We update a page when an official source changes, a link breaks, or a reader provides a traceable correction. We record a Last Updated date but still ask readers to verify time-sensitive facts. Chinese coverage currently focuses on the Germany A1 family-reunion core path; it is written for Chinese user questions rather than presented as a full-site line-by-line translation.
